Moqaysa | مقايسة ("Moqaysa", "the App", "we", "us", or "our") is developed and published by EMAD DEV. This Privacy Policy explains what information may be collected or processed when you use Moqaysa, why it is used, how it may be stored or shared, and the choices available to you.
1. Information We Process
Depending on the features you use, Moqaysa may process:
Account and authentication information: information required for sign-in, such as your email address, Firebase user identifier, Google account name/profile information made available through Google Sign-In, and authentication identifiers or tokens required to provide secure access.
Project and construction data: information you create or enter, including project names, client information, project locations, notes, BOQ items, quantities, measurements, rates, prices, materials, procurement information, contractor/payment-certificate information, project-control data, construction calculation inputs/results, structural takeoff information, reinforcement/BBS-related information, and other project records.
Company and report information: company name, contact information, address, preparer/representative name, report notes, company logo, and other information you choose to include in reports.
Application preferences: language, report language, appearance/theme, accent, currency, units, pricing preferences, synchronization settings, and other app preferences.
Diagnostic and performance information: Moqaysa may use Firebase Crashlytics and Firebase Performance Monitoring to identify crashes, failed operations, performance problems, and reliability issues. This may include technical or pseudonymous identifiers, device/app information, crash information, and performance measurements. Moqaysa is designed not to intentionally include your name or email address in application diagnostic breadcrumbs.
Advertising and consent information: eligible Free users may see banner or rewarded advertising. Advertising services may process device/advertising identifiers, technical information, and ad interaction information according to their own policies and applicable consent requirements. Where required, Moqaysa uses Google consent/privacy functionality to request or manage advertising privacy choices. Where available, users may review or change applicable privacy choices from within the App.
Moqaysa does not sell your personal information.
2. How We Use Information
We use information to authenticate users; provide project, BOQ, calculation, procurement, structural, reporting, and project-control features; save and synchronize eligible information; generate PDF/Excel exports; provide backup and restore; verify Free/Pro access and purchases; provide rewarded-ad-supported features where applicable; maintain preferences; diagnose reliability problems; protect services against abuse; provide support; and comply with applicable legal or platform requirements.
3. Firebase and Cloud Synchronization
Moqaysa uses Firebase services for account and cloud functionality. Eligible information may be stored in Firebase Firestore under the authenticated user's account. Firebase App Check may be used to protect backend resources against unauthorized or abusive requests. Not every local file or asset is necessarily uploaded to Firestore.
4. Google Drive
Moqaysa may request permission to use your Google Drive for optional full backups, backup restoration, generated PDF/Excel archives, and backup assets where applicable. Google Drive access is used only after required authorization is granted. Data stored there remains associated with your Google account and is subject to Google's applicable terms and privacy practices.
If you use Delete account and data, Moqaysa attempts to delete Moqaysa data stored through the App in Google Drive as part of the account-deletion process.
5. Purchases and Pro Features
Moqaysa may offer paid functionality through Google Play Billing, including an annual Pro subscription and a one-time Founder Lifetime product where available. Google Play handles payment information such as full payment-card details; Moqaysa does not receive those full card details. Purchase identifiers/information necessary to verify and maintain entitlements may be processed through Google Play and Moqaysa backend services.
Account deletion does not cancel a Google Play subscription. Limited billing evidence may be retained after deletion where needed for purchase ownership/history, refunds, revocations, fraud prevention, and platform or legal compliance. This retained evidence is minimized and does not include project data, profile name, email, or preferences. A new account, including one using the same email address, does not automatically inherit a deleted account's purchase.
6. Advertising
Eligible Free users may see banner and rewarded advertisements. Rewarded ads may provide the specific temporary or limited benefit described in the App. Advertising availability, personalization, and privacy choices may depend on region, consent status, account status, and platform requirements. Applicable paid entitlements may provide a different advertising experience according to current product rules.
8. Local Storage
Some information is stored locally on your device, including eligible projects, preferences, cached information, pricing/report configuration, and other app data. Uninstalling the App may remove local app data but does not necessarily delete information already synchronized to cloud services or backed up to Google Drive.
9. Data Retention
Account and cloud information is retained as necessary to provide the services you use and until deleted through available controls, subject to technical, security, legal, backup, or service-provider requirements. Information stored in your Google Drive remains there until deleted by you or through applicable Moqaysa deletion functionality. Diagnostic information may be retained according to the relevant service provider's retention settings and policies.
10. Your Choices
Depending on enabled features, Moqaysa may allow you to sign out, manage synchronization, create/restore backups, manage applicable advertising/privacy choices, clear local data, delete cloud data, and permanently delete your Moqaysa account and associated data.
Clearing only local data does not necessarily delete synchronized cloud or Google Drive data.
11. Account and Data Deletion
Deletion controls are available from the App's Account & Privacy / Privacy & Delete area. The Delete account and data process is designed to delete applicable Moqaysa Google Drive data, applicable Firebase Firestore data, the associated Firebase Authentication account, and local Moqaysa application data.
Before user data is removed, a protected backend flow places billing in an explicit deletion-pending state. It then removes direct account linkage from retained billing evidence where allowed and disables the deleted account's entitlement. Google Play subscriptions remain managed through Google Play, and purchase transfer to a recreated account is not automatic.
For security, reauthentication may be required. If required remote deletion cannot be completed, the process may stop and report an error rather than intentionally leave a partially deleted account.

12. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures intended to protect information handled by Moqaysa, including authenticated access, Firebase security mechanisms, App Check where applicable, secure purchase verification, and restricted account-associated cloud access. No electronic storage, transmission, or online service can be guaranteed completely secure.
13. Children's Privacy
Moqaysa is professional construction/productivity software and is not designed specifically for children. We do not knowingly design the service to collect children's personal information in violation of applicable law.
14. International Processing
Service providers may process information on servers located outside your country of residence. Cloud, authentication, advertising, billing, and related online functionality may therefore involve international processing according to provider infrastructure, policies, and applicable law.
15. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when functionality, service providers, legal requirements, or privacy practices change. The effective date will be revised when the policy is updated.
